How to book

Phone or email in advance to make your reservation.
Sailing schedule is set on a daily basis, depending on sea conditions, tides & passenger demand.
Trips are typically scheduled to run between 11 am - 4 pm.
Times are subject to change.
Reservations are advisable.
We will send you a confirmation text message by 9am on the day.
Confirmation back by you on the day of sailing is required.
Check-in is 30 minutes before departure during July & August.

NB. We do not have a set daily schedule, due to the fact that we are watching nature in nature. We set each day's schedule the day before and then confirm it with you on the day.

Sunset Trip Around the Loop

A very special evening cruise around the tip of Loop Head to look at the famous geology, protected sea bird cliffs, thousands of nesting guillemots. Adult only, no kids. Limited numbers, book ahead. An elegant, romantic and memorable trip. May-mid July only (while the birds are nesting).

€40 per person (adults only -sorry, no children)

General Boat Trip Information:

Dolphin & Nature Centre & Office open July & August.
Other months - meet at the boat at the Castle Pier and pay on board.
Wear warm clothes and sensible shoes.
Bring jackets - it’s always cooler and fresher at sea!
Bring binoculars, cameras and sunscreen.

Terms & Conditions:
Advanced reservations must be confirmed by passengers 24 hours prior to sailing in order to keep the reservation.
Cancellations by passengers require 24 hour notice for full refund.
If sailing is cancelled by Dolphinwatch, we will try to re-scedule your reservation.
In the event your sailing is cancelled by Dolphinwatch and re-scheduling is not an option, you will get a full refund.
